Panthers Volleyball Set for 2026-27 OCAA Season

NORTH BAY, ON – The Canadore Panthers men's and women's volleyball teams are preparing for another exciting Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) season as the 2026-27 conference schedules have been announced.

Both Panthers programs will open the regular season at home on Friday, October 23, against Loyalist College at the Canadore Education Centre Gymnasium in North Bay. The women's team will begin the doubleheader at 6 p.m., followed by the men's match at 8 p.m.

The opening weekend continues on Saturday, October 24, when Canadore hosts St. Lawrence College (Kingston), with the women competing at 1 p.m. and the men taking the court at 3 p.m.

The Panthers will host eight conference doubleheaders during the regular season, providing numerous opportunities for the North Bay community to support both programs.

October 23 vs. Loyalist

  • Women: 6 p.m.

  • Men: 8 p.m.

October 24 vs. St. Lawrence (Kingston)

  • Women: 1 p.m.

  • Men: 3 p.m.

November 8 vs. Algonquin

  • Women: 1 p.m.

  • Men: 3 p.m.

November 14 vs. Centennial

  • Women: 1 p.m.

  • Men: 3 p.m.

November 28 vs. George Brown

  • Women: 1 p.m.

  • Men: 3 p.m.

January 9 vs. Seneca

  • Women: 4 p.m.

  • Men: 6 p.m.

January 10 vs. Fleming

  • Women: 1 p.m.

  • Men: 3 p.m.

January 23 vs. Durham

  • Women: 1 p.m.

  • Men: 3 p.m.

Following the season-opening homestand, both teams will travel to Durham and Fleming before returning to North Bay in early November. The regular season concludes in February with road matches against George Brown and Centennial.

The 2026-27 season promises competitive conference play and exciting matchups as the Panthers look to make their mark in the OCAA standings. With a balanced schedule of home and away contests, both programs will have the opportunity to showcase their talent while representing Canadore College across Ontario.
