ANDREW BELL COMMITTED TO CANADORE

NORTH BAY, ON – Canadore Panthers Men's Basketball Head Coach Bill Crowdis is pleased to announce the commitment of Andrew Bell, a dynamic 5'9" guard from Courtice, Ontario, for the upcoming season. Bell joins the Panthers after a highly successful high school career at Holy Trinity Catholic High School, where he was a remarkable four-time LOSSAA Champion. He also starred with DK Dragons Basketball Club, helping lead the program to back-to-back Ontario Provincial Club Championships.

Known for his elite speed, athleticism, and ability to create offense, Bell has consistently proven to be one of the most exciting guards in the region. During his most recent season, he averaged 25 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals per game, showcasing his ability to impact every facet of the game.

Coach Crowdis has had the opportunity to watch Bell compete for years, both during his championship runs at Holy Trinity and as a member of the DK Dragons program alongside his son, Colton Crowdis. Throughout that time, Bell has consistently demonstrated the character, resilience, and competitive drive that have helped him become one of the area's most accomplished players.

"Andrew is an immediate-impact type of player," said Head Coach Bill Crowdis. "He can play either guard position and has tremendous rebounding ability for his size. His speed allows him to get wherever he wants on the floor, and he finishes around the basket with either hand. His mid-range game is on point, he shoots the three well in catch-and-shoot situations, and most importantly, he has a team-first mentality. I've always been a big fan of Andrew's demeanour and resilience. He's a winner who understands what it takes to compete at a high level, and we're excited to welcome him to Canadore."

Bell's combination of scoring ability, playmaking, defensive pressure, and winning experience will provide an immediate boost to the Panthers' backcourt as the program continues to build toward competing among the OCAA's top teams.

"I'm excited for this upcoming season. I bring energy, leadership, and a winning mentality. I take pride in creating opportunities for my teammates and being a leader on the defensive end as well. I can't wait to get started and contribute to this team's goals," said Bell.

The Canadore Panthers are excited to welcome Andrew to North Bay and look forward to his contributions both on and off the court.

Welcome to the Panther Family, Andrew!
